Work at Home Mums We have helped build the confidence of work-at-home mums so that they have been able to uncover their Life Purpose.  For some this has meant going back into education and obtaining the relevant qualifications needed to get them started, many of which then progressed quickly through the ranks to achieve their deepest desire. For others, this may mean returning to their Art or Craft or just targeting their dreams in some other way. We were also headhunted to give advice and consultancy for Watford Women’s Centre.

Military to Civilian Leaving military life and transitioning into Civilian can be a struggle for some but our help and tips have helped many military personnel change their focus and settle down into a new way of life quickly.

School-Leavers Although we do not advocate leaving school at an early age there have been a few youngsters who have come to us because they have been ready to start work.  Although they are generally young adults who have more confidence than the majority, our strategies, knowledge, and insight into what they need to do so that employers perceive them as highly employable has helped them obtain sponsors, apprenticeships, and trainee roles. Again we were head-hunted to give advice and consultancy to a group of exchange students.

Over 60s When you have become an “Authority” or a “Specialist” in your field and you are made redundant, it can be a crushing blow and many people in this sphere have come to us with the thought that they might only be able to obtain a role in a Supermarket.  When it has been discussed we have discovered that many of them weren’t really ready to retire and would have loved to stay in their dream role a few years longer, but they felt they were now too old.  Our strategies have helped change their way of thinking, enlighten them on the best way forward and give them the edge in getting back onto their chosen career path.

Overlooked for Promotion There have been many instances where people have been overlooked for promotion.  In one instance we had a client who had been overlooked many, many times – he felt the time had come to hand in his notice and move on.   However, when we spoke to him, we discovered that he really liked his employers and the job he had.  We helped him address the situation with his employer and he was promoted, he came back to us every year for six or seven years and was promoted each time. Once he reached the top of his tree, he felt he was ready to work for himself, so he came back to us for help with a Business Plan.  This helped him achieve banking and sponsorship, so he was able to obtain his own premises and within a few short years, we were delighted to hear he had a chain of profitable businesses.
